Within the School of Education at Trinity College Dublin, I am the Convenor of the Psychology of Education research grouping. This is a vibrant group of researchers who are exploring the various ways in which psychological principles, theories, research practices, and methodologies can be utilised to enhance the experiences of children, schools, and communities.
At a different level, the work that we conduct within the Psychology of Education research group links to the wider work of the School’s Inclusion in Education and Society (IES) research group. With colleagues in IES, we have been developing a focus on the educational and social inclusion of marginalized groups within society.
Other research groupings aligned with IES include: Inclusion and Student Voice, Research and Advocacy, Inclusion and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Inclusion and Intellectual Disability.
